Revox Just Glycolic Acid is the most commonly used Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), due to being one of the most effective AHA’s. Its molecules are the smallest among the AHAs, so it’s able to penetrate the skin and be absorbed better.

It works by breaking the bonds between old skin cells, freeing them so they can be exfoliated. It helps accelerate skin’s renewal process, bringing fresh, new skin to the surface on a regular basis when used routinely.

The skin looks younger and dewier, thanks to the faster cell renewal.

Combine with Revox Just Argan 100% Daily Nourishment, Revox Just Blend Oil Nourishing Serum or Revox Just Hyaluronic Acid 5% Hydrating Fluid as part of your daily beauty routine, to nourish and protect the skin from over-drying.

Caution: Do not combine with Revox Just Salicylic Acid 2% Peeling Solution as this may lead to over-drying, redness and/or irritation of the skin.

Patch Testing Guide

Patch tests are an easy way to help predict if you will have a negative initial reaction to a new product. It is recommended to perform a patch test before incorporating a new product into your routine. We have outlined a general method for conducting your own patch test based on the type of product.

How to patch test:

  • Apply the product as directed to a small area once a day for three days to test if you are sensitive to this product. Start with one application daily. If dryness or peeling occurs reduce application to once a day or every other day. If you develop severe irritation, hives, swelling of eyes and mouth, blistering, or difficulty breathing, rinse off, cease use and consult a physician right away.

Leave-On Products:

  • Apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm.
  • Keep the area dry.
  • After 24 hours rinse the area.
  • If any redness, burning, itching, blistering or irritation is observed at any time throughout the test, do not use the product.

Rinse-Off Products:

  • Apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm.
  • Keep the area dry.
  • After 24 hours rinse the area.
  • If any redness, burning, itching, blistering or irritation is observed at any time throughout the test, do not use the product.

Masks and Peeling Solutions, such as AHA Acids:

  • Apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm.
  • Leave-on for the specified length of time stated in the directions of use of the product.
  • Rinse off when the specified time has passed.
  • If any redness, burning, itching, blistering or irritation is observed within 24 hours of the patch test, do not use the product.

Please note that the patch test is only for determining initial irritation reactions to products and does not guarantee similar results when applied to other areas of the body (including the face) or after continuous use. It does not account for underlying conditions and should not be used for the diagnosis of hypersensitivity or allergic contact dermatitis. If you are concerned about starting a new product, please consult a dermatologist prior to use.
