How do drop foundations work?

They are highly concentrated, so a small number of drops mixed on the back of the hand or applied directly gives light coverage, and more drops build it up. This lets one bottle serve as both a tinted moisturiser and a fuller base. Start with fewer drops than you think you need.

How do I find my shade?

Test along the jawline in natural daylight and wait several minutes before judging — most foundations oxidise slightly and can pull warmer or darker than they first appear. If you fall between two shades, take the lighter one and adjust the perimeter with bronzer.

Why does my foundation pill?

Usually a layering conflict. Water-based foundation over a silicone primer, or foundation applied before skincare has absorbed, will roll rather than blend. Allow each layer to settle, and match water-based to water-based where you can.
